  Sharky's has a good atmosphere, and it's pretty cool to sit out on the deck to watch the boats come in. I was not too impressed with the food. I've eaten there twice. The first time I got their appetizer sampler (wings, chicken fingers, cheese balls, jalopeno (sp?) poppers) which was way over priced for the money. The only thing worth eating were the fried cheese balls (very good). The second time I had their grilled chicken sandwhich, which was pretty good, but make sure you ask for tomato and lettuce if you want it, because they do not put it on there without you asking. You have to pay an additional $2.00 for fries instead of chips, so I paid $9.00 for a chicken sandwhich and fries. I don't believe it was worth that. My parents got a cheeseburger which they said was very good, so I would recommend their burgers. It's an okay place if you just want to go get a drink or two, but there are a lot more places better to eat in OIB.

  I've been to the Giggling Mackerel three times and have had a great experience every time. A friend and I split two of their appetizers two different times, which were the crab bites and fried calamari...both delicious! The crab bites are fried balls of stuffed crab and they are an original and very yummy. During the summertime, they have a DJ up on the Tiki deck, Thur. through Sat. nights, which is pretty fun, even though no one was dancing, but good music was played. I can't wait to go back!
